Floor Mass Fire Resistance
A floor mass of 300kg/m3 can be achieved using medium weight concrete infill blocks 1480kg/m3 together with a 50mm screed. A floor mass of 365kg/m3 may be achieved using dense concrete infill blocks 1960kg/m3 together with a 60mm screed. Assessed in accordance with BS 8110, Atlas Flooring will achieve 0.5 hours fire resistance and when underdrawn with 12.5mm plasterboard will have a nominal fire rating of 1hour.
