AP/Contracts Managers

Atlas Concrete Limited has two qualified AP/Contracts Managers working across the UK.

An Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) is a key role responsible for the planning and safe execution of lifting activities. They ensure that all lifting operations are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant health and safety requirements.

While certain duties may be delegated to other competent personnel, overall responsibility for the lifting operation remains with the Appointed Person.

The Appointed Person must take responsibility for the safety and coordination of all lifting activities. Their duties typically include:

• Planning lifting operations
• Reviewing and approving risk assessments
• Issuing clear instructions to personnel involved
• Supervising lifting activities where possible
• Liaising with relevant authorities and stakeholders
• Ensuring work is carried out safely and in accordance with regulations

We provide RAMS and lifting plans for all supply and fix projects, we work on making sure all the work is carried out safely on all projects.
